41-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Telephone Pole In Norwalk

A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after striking a telephone pole in Fairfield County.

The 41-year-old died around 8:20 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 4 in Norwalk after his motorcycle drove off the roadway and struck the pole in the area of 238 West Cedar St.

According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, following the crash, the victim, Jared Taylor, a resident of Norwalk, was transported to Norwalk Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The accident is under active investigation.
